Singing has been shown to have a wide range of health and wellbeing benefits for people Parkinson's. My own research has shown that these benefits even extend to caregivers who participate in group singing with their spouse who has Parkinson's. In October 2021, I was fortunate to give this presentation at an online festival for Dance for Parkinson's Australia, where I discuss the many benefits of singing for people with Parkinson's. The Toowoomba Parkinson's support group has been running the "Park 'n Songs" singing group since 2017 (pictured below). I've had the extraordinary privilege of getting to know this amazing bunch of people and share with them the joy of singing. You can watch the group performing in an international online festival for Parkinson's here.

Thank you "Park n Songers" for teaching me so much about singing and about facing life's challenges with grace and courage.

My partner was diagnosed with Parkinson’s almost 5 years ago. His disease has progressed significantly in the past year, and he begun to have delusions. He also had side effects from carbidopa/levodopa, which we decided to stop, and our primary physician decided he should start on PD-5 formula 4 months ago. He now sleeps soundly, works out frequently, and is now very active since we started him on the PD-5 formula. It doesn’t make the Parkinson’s disease go away, but it did give him a better quality of life. We got the treatment from uinehealthcentre.com
